Staying at the George Hotel
There are many pleasures in store for the visitor to Norwich. With narrow winding streets, cobbled alleys, tilted medieval houses, museums, castle, cathedral and a fabulous shopping centre. The George Hotel has been looking after us for a few years now, benefitting from a refurbishment, the hotel is very comfortable with delicious food and many ground floor bedrooms. Sandringham House is a country house and is one of the royal residences of Charles III.

Our Itinerary
DAY 1 Your door-to-door service will pick you up from your doorstep and bring you to the coach. From here we head southwards via the motorways to the A17 where we cross country into Norfolk and our hotel for the next 4 nights. Appropriate refreshment stops will be made along the way and we hope to be at our hotel in plenty of time to settle in before dinner.
DAY 2 Today is a free day to explore all that Norwich has to offer. Firstly, this morning, our Blue Badge guide will join our coach and take us around this fabulous city before you are left to do as you wish. Norwich has something for everyone. Enchanting cobbled streets and fascinating historical buildings, museums where you can wander and learn. The fabulous shopping and the cathedral make this a perfect day out.
DAY 3 A full day today as we head out after breakfast and drive firstly to England’s premier lavender farm (est. 1932) renowned worldwide with nearly 100 acres of lavender and set in beautiful gardens. This afternoon we drive to Sandringham for an included visit. With generations of history linked to the British Monarch since 1862, Sandringham Estate remains the country retreat to their Majesties, King Charles lll and Queen Camilla.
DAY 4 A full day again today. We make our way to the pretty village of Holt for time to peruse. Holt’s fine 18th-century Georgian buildings make the town one of the most attractive in north Norfolk. The town is home to many art galleries, antique and book shops with places to eat located along the high street tucked away in hidden, charming courtyards and alleyways. Bakers and Larners department store and Byfords are two landmark establishments in the town. This afternoon we have a single journey on the North Norfolk Railway to Sheringham. Sheringham was once an old fishing village and that heritage is still evident today in museums and on murals that decorate the promenade. We spend some time here
to explore and enjoy before returning to our hotel for dinner.
DAY 5 Today we head for home. We retrace our steps across country with suitable breaks to our home areas where your door-to-door service will return you to your doorstep.
