Torquay and the English Riviera

Staying at the Livermead Cliff Hotel, Torquay
Once again, we return to the Livermead Cliff Hotel. Situated on the ‘sea side’ of the promenade with superb views across the bay particularly from the outside terrace and its lounge. The hotel is proud of its restaurant and dining menu and of course the staff who are most caring and kind. On this holiday we include a steam railway journey and passenger ferry to the old resort of Dartmouth as well as the countryside and coastline of Torquay and surrounding area.

Our itinerary
DAY 1 After our doorstep service has brought you to our coach, we journey south with suitable refreshment stops to our hotel for dinner and a 4 night stay.
DAY 2 A free day to do as you please, maybe explore Torquay and all it has to offer or just relax and enjoy the magnificent view across Torbay.
DAY 3 A full day tour today, first to the ancient market town of Totnes then later a leisurely drive through the Dart Valley to the tranquil and peaceful Buckfast Abbey with plenty of time to visit both the abbey and gardens before returning to our hotel for relaxation and dinner.
DAY 4 Today we have another full but relaxing day. First, we drive to Paignton to join the steam train to Kingswear then cross the River Dart by passenger ferry to Dartmouth. Here we have plenty of time to discover this old resort before our coach picks you up and returns via the country route back to our hotel in good time for dinner.
DAY 5 Sadly after a leisurely breakfast we leave our hotel and drive north with suitable refreshment stops to our home areas and door-to door service.
